Do I have to book an appointment?
Yes all appointments do have to be booked in advance, we don’t offer a walk in service.
Why aren’t there any appointments showing?
If you can’t see any appointments available online then we are more than likely fully booked. You can call us to check on 01752 227484.
Do I have to complete the online consultation form?
Yes, all clients have to complete the online consultation form before we can carry out any treatments in the salon.
Can I bring my child with me?
Unfortunately due to insurance purposes we do not allow any children in to the salon. There are many chemicals and items of equipment unsafe for children in a salon environment. This also allows you the opportunity to relax and be pampered at your appointment.
What age do I have to be to have gel polish applied?
The minimum age for gel polish application is 14 and you must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
What age do I have to be to have a full set of acrylic/hard gel?
The minimum age for acrylic or hard gel enhancements is 16 and you must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Do you work over another nail technicians/salons work?
We are unable to work over nails that have been applied by another nail technician/salon. We are unaware of what products have been used and most importantly need to see the condition of the natural nail before carrying out any treatment. If you have nails on applied by another salon then we can remove them and apply a new set.
How can I pay for my appointment?
We accept all major debit/credit cards (excluding AMEX), Cash or Apple Pay
Do you offer gift vouchers?
We don’t offer gift vouchers at rainbow nails but you are able to pre pay for someone else’s appointment by contacting us.
What days do you offer training courses?
Training courses are run when the salon is closed on Mondays and the occasional Sunday.
Are your products cruelty free & vegan?
Yes, all of main product lines that we use within the salon are vegan & cruelty free.
Is there parking available?
Yes there is plenty of street parking available outside the salon and on surrounding streets. Please note that as we are next to a school, it can get very busy in the morning and around 3pm so you may wish to leave a few minutes earlier to arrive at your appointment on time.
How long should my nails last?
In most cases your nails should be lasting up to 3 weeks or more if correct aftercare advice is followed. Please see the aftercare section, pick up a leaflet in the salon or speak to one of our technicians if you are unsure on aftercare.
